Donation program huge Success :-) :-) Awesome feeling ....Nothing get bigger than this.

Dear Friends,

Its just happened the same way as every one wished us before we left.

Huge Success :- ) :-) Awesome Feeling for all of us and definitely Its nothing get bigger than this.

We finished the whole program in very smoothly in pleasant environment with kids,

I took message from School kids and teachers to all the contributors .....

after we gave kits to children,

One child woke up and spoke like this:

" Dear Brothers/Sisters, we are all very thankful to you for giving bags/books, we come regularly to school and become Engineers like you.. and help the other people".

Teachers:

They asked me to convey

" Thank you so much for helping our children in a very big way... no body done it like this before in our school ... our school is so lucky to get help from you... "

Head master message:

" I was very touched by this engineers help, they came various cities and helping poor people, it is very good idea,he wondered and told who will help in this big way in this present world", he promised to teach the students well and make them like us"

Let me put the whole things in story board way :-)

1. We left with whole stuff at 9:45 AM to school.
2. School children were waiting by that time and they were jubilant and you should see all kids faces ... all were smiling beautifully
It was treat to watch, our whole team felt .. "This is real children s day".

3. We get down with stuff and school management planned the activities very well.

4. As you know we planned to give it to 4 schools (350 Kits), we called school by school and donated the kits with Head
master, teachers and ourselves on behalf of our 64 members team.

5. Each children took the kits and started seeing inside and discussing with other kids about the items we had given, all were so excited and happy (beautiful smiles on children s faces.

Like that we called each school children with their teaching staff ; had some message behalf our team and donated the kits.

whole event completed in just 2 hours as it was planned very well by school management and our operating team.

Its amazing guys, we really had very good time and its the place to be on children s day with children for great cause.

Finally I would like to share few information and vote of thanks to all .

Note: Please find the all the contributors share in the attached "contributors.xls" file

Actually we wanted to give extra 50 bags to other school as we had surplus money of Rs.2,336 /-.

items for blind people.

Kishore and myself were coordinating with other friends for last 9 months to help those blind school and we had donated earlier.
I/Kishore will keep post the spending details of these contributed money.

Finally would like thank few people without whom the whole event wont be done in smooth/hassle free.

It made very easy for us to just take the sets and gave the complete kits to children.hassle free.

Ammulu Thanks for your valuable contribution :-)

5. Last but not the least, The complete school staff was so cooperative, specially the headmaster sir Mr.Raffiq he was awesome,
he was the man who brought all the schools children on time and make them sit properly.
he decorated the place very well and his teaching staff was so supporting to him as well. They served good snacks to us and
children on children s day.

As I also studied in the Govt.Schools upto class 10, "I never seen that much dedicated/passion teacher during my days"
It is very lucky for that school children that he is their headmaster.

Finally I would like to thank all the people... my house maid, transporters(drivers) who helped in their bit.

It was very purposeful and needed program specially after disaster Oct 2nd -2009 Kurnool history.

Heavy Floods in Kurnool City...Sad Moments in Kurnool ... Time to support the people.

As you know we had experienced terrible floods in the 80% of Kurnool town which took nearly 5 lakhs of people on to roads without anything left.I personally had seen some glimpses of Kurnool city during heavy water logging's in almost all most important places of the Kurnool city.Floods shed the dreams of all walks of life in Kurnool town. Its very huge loss in terms of money to the Kurnool.

If I just mention the areas that affected with this devastating floods.

Totally 2 rivers Thungabadra and Handri river came closer and closer to each other by eating up both residential and business/commercial hot spots.Banks of Thungabadra River i.e., Roja Street,Prakash Nagar,N.R.Peta,Saibaba Nagar and villages like Panchalingala,Mamidalapadu.Banks of Handri river like complete Old town areas,Budhawarapeta,Rajviha,Bangarupeta,Rajvihar,Gandhi Nagar,Abdulla Khan estate and UconPlaza

Total Kurnool fate was changed in 6 hours. We went back to 10 years back position with this unexpected floods.
seems like the the loss could touch thousands of crores.For Residential people specially poor people who lives in small huts/small sheet houses lost all the whatever little things.They simply out on the roads with empty hands begging for food & Water.For business people,its major loss in terms of their stock/materials are completely washed out;
Yesterday while I was speaking to one of the business man;he told at least every business man lost 5 laksh to 50 lakhs in their respective volumes of business.

If you keep the financial loss aside; the people who felt the mental trauma for at least 18 hours standing in high
floors seeing the water reaching to them was un explainable.

The aftermath situations is worst;no body is looking forward to their relief.I have seen the some people who are working so hard now to recover from the aftermath;my whole hearted wishes with them. There are lot of NGOs/Private people/Private organizations/other citizens are contributing a lot to these
flood affected areas.

In these circumstances, couple of things is very disturbing to everyone.

1.some selfish junk guys are looting the homes for the valuable things.
2.some provision shop owners are selling the day to day commodities for higher
prices.

I can't understand why these are earth still living in this world; I personally feel due to all this kind selfishness, cheating the people,un humanity activities only we are facing these unexpected calamities.

Big Challenges we are facing

1. Controlling health problems with proper sanitation.

2. Basic food items & clothing to people.

3. Helping Govt School children to go back to school with basic things
books, bags, pencils and other stationary for items.

4. Basic things like stoves, plates,Buckets, mugs, glasses, bowls etc..for family to
prepare food in their homes.

So, its high time to declare unanimously to help and join hands together to help and helpful to the poor people.

Friends come together, please please contribute something from your side and make our collective efforts to make some change in their day to day living.
we need to be helpful to each other during tough times;need to be supportive. If you are belong to Kurnool you have much more responsibility to contribute and do something bit to get back smile to all the affected peoples lifes.

So, This what we need to do

My initial observation and feeling is like

challenge no. 1 and no 2 which I mentioned above are taking care slowly in town from different places.

even donating cloths and doing help can be done by simply donating our old cloths and helping the people in the weekends.

Major challenges after 2 weeks are 3 & 4

3. Helping Govt School children to go back to school with basic things books, bags, pencils and other stationary for items.

4. Basic things like stoves, plates,Buckets, mugs, glasses, bowls etc..for family to prepare food in their homes.

Note: These are just pointers for you to think on this line; Please spend some time on any other mode of helping quickly and I would also request all the friends to share their opinions/suggestions in other ways to help the people. Some one may have better ideas or valuable needy things to be solved.

Note:Make sure we will contribute basic things of their life.

So we will start pooling money and decide the activity to be performed.

I would request all the friends to come together and donate whatever you can to below mentioned account by this Sunday 11th.
Once some amount of money is collected; we all go to Kurnool on 17,18,19 October-09 and donate the things whatever we decided collectively with that money.

Everybody can propose their ideas to contribute/help the people.

Initially we are in process of collecting ideas like

1.Donating books to poor children by going to flood affected Govt schools.
2.Donate day to day house hold equipment to the poor people.

Plan in Summary:
---------------

1.collection of funds: 11th October-09
2.Finalizing the items to be bought: 14 October-09
3.Procuring the items decided: 15-17th October-09.
4.Distribution: 17,18,19 October-09.

All them money details and donatable items will be shared; rehabilitation program photos/video will be kept in this blog.

Please find the Account details for transferring money.
